Strange how that whole train-of-thought thing works, isn’t it? One minute you’re talking to your buddy on the horn and he brings up a certain Faith No More song, and the next thing you know, you’ve pissed away the better part of a half-hour watching old videos on YouTube. Although Faith will always hold a special place in my heart — the outfit is responsible for Angel Dust, one of my all-time favorite albums — I honestly haven’t thought about the group for years. I’d forgotten how cool and subtly subversive the band was. I was quickly reminded, though, after seeing this vintage clip of Mike Patton (donning a Rockies cap, no less) and company sexing things up on Leno with “Easy,” by the Commodores. — Dave Herrera
