Beloved ska alt-rock band Sublime With Rome is dissolving at the end of 2024, but before the group retires for good, it’s bringing a raucous two-night grand finale to the Mile High City. To close out its national farewell tour (which included a Red Rocks show with Cypress Hill in April), the band is coming to Denver’s own Mission Ballroom for two epic 16+ shows, on Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14. This weekend will be the last time fans will have the chance to see Sublime With Rome play in America, so snag those tickets while you can.
Originally formed in 2010 by former Sublime members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh along with young guitarist and Sublime superfan Rome Ramirez, Sublime With Rome announced that this would be its final tour back in March, just before dropping the self-titled album Sublime With Rome. From Denver, the bandmembers will fly to New Zealand for a few more sets before permanently moving on to other music projects. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or a recent convert, you don’t want to miss out on these once-in-a-lifetime shows celebrating the legendary fourteen-year run of Sublime With Rome.

Both general admission tickets and VIP balcony tickets are available for Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14.

But this weekend’s milestone Mission Ballroom shows will focus on the OG Sublime’s discography. On Friday, December 13, Sublime With Rome will play Sublime’s debut album, 40oz. to Freedom, in its entirety, with supporting acts The Expendables and Justus & The Limits. Then on Saturday, after a supporting set from A-Mac & The Height, the band will play a selection of Sublime’s greatest hits, including fan favorites like “Wrong Way,” “Caress Me Down,” “Badfish,” “What I Got” and “Santeria,” which is consistently its most-streamed song. (It’s got nearly 9 million plays on Spotify alone.) Brush up on your lyrics, boys and girls, because Sublime With Rome’s concerts are famous for turning into crowd-wide sing-alongs.
In the decade and a half that Sublime With Rome has dominated rock and alternative music charts, a shifting roster of impressive musicians have been a part of the band, with Ramirez as the only constant. On this sunset tour, he’s joined by drummer Joe Tomino of Dub Trio and bassist and background vocalist Brian Allen. Sublime With Rome frequently brings a few extra instrumentalists on tour, so you just might see some special guests, too.
Sublime With Rome’s historic swan song is happening right in the heart of RiNo, and these two nights at the Mission are more than just concerts: They’re a celebration of the band’s illustrious career and dedication to preserving the legacy of Sublime.
Both general admission tickets and VIP balcony tickets are available for Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14. Come bid Sublime With Rome farewell and send the band off in style amid a crowd of fellow fans!
