Now T-Pain has just announced that he will be back at the legendary venue, and he's bringing some iconic friends for the occasion: Waka Flaka Flame and Ying Yang Twins. The announcement comes just one day after he hinted at retirement.
On June 2, T-Pain posted a video featuring shots of memorabilia, awards and him looking out a window, as words flashed on the screen: "Been at this 20 years. I'm talking it over with my family and team. Got a big decision to make. This might be it." The video is captioned: "I gave you all everything for 20 years. I’m grateful to each of you for making this such a great ride. Right now I just need some time to think about what’s next and what’s best for me."

Fans immediately responded in the comments section, sharing their surprise, jokes and well-wishes. "True talent u were one of the best parts of the 2000s," one fan wrote. "I remember having I'm sprung on repeat from a blank disc that had like 200 songs on there in the 2000s
But others were more speculative. One X user wrote, "Lol I'm hoping this is an announcement for a Tour because ain't no way a n—-a made promo for a retirement [crying emoji]."
"I can't believe everyone can't see this is clearly promo for his comeback singe," said a fan.
"This is too serious a video especially for T-Pain," added another netizen.

T-Pain, born Faheem Rashad Najm, was raised in Tallahassee, Florida, and turned his bedroom into a music studio at the age of ten after being inspired by family friend and gospel jazz artist Ben Tankard. He joined the hip-hop crew Nappy Headz in 1999, taking the stage name "Tallahassee Pain." His 2004 debut mixtape, Back @ It, included a cover of Akon's "Locked Up," which inspired Akon to ask T-Pain to sign to his label, Konvict Muzik. That led to T-Pain's debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, which, as the name implies, saw T-Pain taking on his vocalist career rather than rapping. That album went gold with such hits as "I'm Sprung," and T-Pain joined Zomba Label Group for his next album, Epiphany, which was released in 2007 with such successful songs as "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" and "Bartender." The songs provided a soundtrack to the year, and T-Pain continued to collaborate with fellow hip-hop artists such as Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Kanye West, Drake and countless others.
T-Pain is known for his use of auto-tune as almost an instrument, and even created a phone app with an autotune voice corrector. According to T-Pain, his music is influenced by country music, and he even ghostwrote for country artists Luke Bryan, Rhett Atkins and Dallas Davidson — though he says he did not desire to be credited on country songs because of the racism he witnessed in that industry.
Beyond music, T-Pain has also hosted the show T-Pain's School of Business (2018-2019), was the champion on the first season of The Masked Singer, and developed the concept for the Adult Swim animated musical Freaknik: The Musical. He is also big on the gaming platform Twitch.
