One of the things that truly sucks about going to a concert, especially on Colfax, is trying to find parking. Hell, you spend half the show just looking for a space. Thankfully, the fine folks over at Rockbar (3015 East Colfax) feel our pain and have come up with a solution. For a measly five bucks, you can leave your car in their parking lot and climb aboard Rockbar’s double-decker Party Bus. Last week, Iggy Pop and Wolfmother fans got their rock on, and next Wednesday, May 2, the shaggin’ wagon will be shuttling folks over to the Pepsi Center to check out Gwen Stefani. Twisted Mister: This Saturday, April 28, promoter Kevin Larson is throwing his Fifth Annual Twisted Birthday Bash at Tabú and Diamond Cabaret (1222 Glenarm Street). From the sound of it, this party is going to more than live up to its name, with an appearance by MiniKiss (a hilarious pint-sized tribute to the original rockers), which, in itself, is reason enough to attend. Add to that a 300-pound stripper, contortionists, a nude hula-hooper on fire and thirty-some other oddities, and you have the most depraved spectacle this side of Vegas.
