As a trio, Cave Singers (playing tonight at the Larimer Lounge with Bare Bones) only actually employs one voice — member Pete Quirk’s, to be exact. But along with harmonica and melodica, the band creates some beautiful America-twinged folk songs perfect for singing along to.

Forming in 2007, Cave Singers are now onto their third release (and a first for the Jagjajaguwar label), this year’s No Witch, a jangly roots-ish effort sliding in well with the tattered sounds of its Middle Brother and Low Anthem contemporaries. This show is 21 and up, and tickets are $12. Doors open at 8 p.m., and bands start at 10 p.m.
