Little Brazil (playing tonight at the hi-dive with the Photo Atlas and Take to the Oars) began as the solo project of Landon Hedges, following his time in big name acts like Tim Kasher’s The Good Life and the Conor Oberst-led Desparecidos. Eventually Hedges decided fill out his pretty guitar songs with a full band, enlisting a quartet of fellow musician friends from Omaha.
Though the band’s last album was in 2009, Little Brazil has been playing out continuously since its 2002 inception, helping carry the midwestern indie flag into a new decade. This show is eighteen and up, and tickets are $7. Doors open at 9 p.m., and bands start at 10 p.m.
