By now, we’re presuming you’re already very familiar with Lilly Scott, the bewitching local siren who helped breathe new life into the tired American Idol franchise this year with her unique voice and unorthodox song selections. Given the other singers she was up against, we were certain she’d make it into the finals if not go all the way.
Suffice to say, were quite stunned and dismayed when she was unceremoniously voted off just before making it into the top twelve. We caught up with Lilly — slated to make her first local post-Idol appearance with her band our Showcase stage — a few weeks ago for the American Idol finale.
