When you become a Westword member, you're not just supporting local journalism — you also get access to free concerts at our office, where you can see some of the city's best up-and-coming music acts.
After a successful show with bluegrass band High Lonesome, our next in-office members' concert will feature Sunstoney sharing her indie-pop tunes on Wednesday, November 13. We just listed Sunstoney as one of the best indie acts in Denver, on the heels of her new EP release, The Mirror Is Calling. "What inspires me is when I'm able to therapize myself and who I am at the time, and putting it in the context of something else, like love, self-discovery, self-love and trying to elevate myself and people around me," the musician told us in August.
You can give any amount to become a Westword member, then RSVP to attend the show; any last-minute spots will be given to our newsletter subscribers. RSVPs serve as your ticket, and we will send out a reminder email on the morning of the show. The Westword office is at 1278 Lincoln Street, and doors open for guests at 6 p.m. Sunstoney's set will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Q&A at 7 p.m.
In the meantime, take a listen to Sunstoney's new EP:
