There's a weekend-long music and marijuana festival happening at the Denver Mart, 451 East 58th Avenue, called Gypsy Jane; it runs Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5. Visit gypsyjanefest.com for details.

The Hemp Awards & Festival, a party featuring food, drinks, samples, entertainment, contests and a lot more, is taking place at an undisclosed location in Boulder county this weekend, from Saturday, October 4, through Sunday, October 5. The Grow School continues intensive one-day courses that will teach you everything you need to know about growing marijuana; the course includes a tour of a legal grow. The next classes are Saturday, October 4; Sunday, October 5; Saturday, October 11; Sunday, October 12; and beyond. Each class runs from noon to 5 p.m. and costs between $99 and $249.
