The Denver coroner's office has identified the man stabbed to death on the 1800 block of Grove Street as Joey Fuller, a 26-year-old white male.

On November 29, 2010, Denver Health Medical Center notified the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner that an unknown white male had been pronounced dead at 4:37 A.M. The man had been transported to the hospital from 1849 Grove Street in Denver with multiple injuries. The decedent was later identified as Mr. Joey W. Fuller of Denver (white male, DOB 12-11-83, age 26) whose cause of death was due to multiple stab wounds to the chest. The manner of death is homicide.
Update, 3:47 p.m. November 29: Mere hours after discovering the dead body of a thus-far-unidentified Hispanic male in his thirties on the 1800 block of Grove Street, Denver Police have made an arrest in the case.
Taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder is Darold Hinojos, 33. Look below to see a larger photo of Hinojos, the latest press release and our original item.

(Denver) On November 29, 2010, at approximately 1:30 p.m., members of the Denver Police Department arrested Darold Hinojos, (D.O.B. 11-5-1977) for investigation of Murder in the First Degree. Mr. Hinojos was wanted in connection with the early morning stabbing occurring at 1849 Grove Street. Hinojos was arrested without incident.
Detectives will present this case to the Denver District Attorney for consideration of formal charges.

Denver Police Investigate Stabbing Death
(Denver) Denver Police are investigating the death of a man that occurred during the early morning hours in Northwest Denver.
On Monday, November 29, 2010, at approximately 4:00 a.m., officers responded to 1849 Grove Street on the report of a stabbing. Upon their arrival on scene, they discovered a male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was transported to the Denver Heath Medical Center where he later was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation has determined that the suspect was searching for a female acquaintance. After going to several homes, the suspect went to the victim's residence. While there, the victim and the suspect became involved in a physical altercation, which resulted in the victim sustaining a fatal stab wound. The suspect then fled the scene. Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid 30's.
The victim's identity is yet to be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
