It was a cold, rainy night, but the weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of hundreds of Denver Cruisers who came out on May 20 for the first ride of the tenth anniversary season. What started a decade ago as a casual pedal through the streets of Denver by thirteen friends has grown into a weekly tradition that regular attracts thousands of riders. Founder Brad Evans keeps cooking up fun themes for the Wednesday night rides, and that’s not all he’s up to these days: He’s also the man behind Denver Fugly, which celebrates the city in a completely different way. Photographer Brandon Marshall was along for the inaugural ride of the season, and brought back these photos:
