The Colorado congresswoman called for a special counsel to reveal the Epstein client list, and you'll never guess her suggestion. Actually, you probably can.

Colorado's vapin'-est, Kid-Rockin'-est representative in Congress, Lauren Boebert of Colorado's 4th Congressional District, decided earlier today July 15, to inject herself into the MAGA civil war over the Jeffrey Epstein investigation and documents.

The Trump administration's assertion that there is no Epstein client list has caused a moment of weakness for Republican lawmakers, who have blocked several attempts by House Democrats to release the files.

The congresswoman, who moved from CD3 to CD4 to avoid an embarrassing primary loss, proposes that totally-not-a-sexual deviant and former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz be named Special Counsel to investigate the Epstein matter.

For those not up to speed: Trump and many in his administration, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, have hyped up the release of the supposed Epstein client list — prominent people who allegedly participated in underage or illegal sex activities on Epstein's pedophile island, or elsewhere. Trump was a longtime friend of billionaire Epstein, and after Trump and Elon Musk's bromance ended in a split, Musk accused Trump of being in the "Epstein files" on his social media platform X.

Earlier today, Boebert appeared in an interview with right-wing YouTuber Benny Johnson, during which she told him, "No one is satisfied with what has been received or lack thereof. No one is satisfied with the roll out of this. Of course, we've heard that Dan Bongino is not satisfied with the rollout of this, either."
Bongino, the deputy director of the FBI who gained fame as a rabble-rousing MAGA talking head, has threatened to leave his post because of the Trump Administration's "there's nothing to see here" moves in the past few days.

Some, like balloon-headed Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, have capitulated, saying they won't speak of Epstein anymore after Trump demanded that of his flock.

But Lauren's a rebel.

"We need a special counsel, that has got to happen. ... I want answers," the congresswoman told Johnson. "Maybe, that takes a special counsel to do so. ...Maybe, Matt Gaetz can lead the special counsel."

Boebert did not elaborate on Gaetz's subject matter expertise regarding rumors of sex with underage women.
