Every week we explore the annals of recent shmuckdom. This week: An alleged murderer who accidentally wound up in Houston.

Some weeks the shmucks just reach out and grab you. This was one of those weeks, thanks to the sinister moron Franklin Gonzalo Sierra-Rodriguez.

Sierra-Rodriguez is accused of driving from Detroit to Colorado to murder Joaquin Lucero-Carrillo, in one of the more poorly executed executions known to man. Among other follies, Sierra-Rodriguez and his accomplices accidentally wound up in Houston on their way back to Detroit.

Read a detailed account of the murder in Michael Roberts's post from earlier this week. And meet more shmucks in our Shmuck of the Week archive.
