Thirsty?

Shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, the upper level of the Pepsi Center was practically deserted. While completing an entire circuit, I encountered only one maintenance crew member — although I saw her twice, so maybe it should count double. I also discovered that the soft-drink coolers were unlocked — meaning that anyone could have taken all the drinks he could carry and no one would have been the wiser. So ignore that $4 a bottle pricetag on sodas at food-and-beverage stands on the main level and rush upstairs, delegates! Free Pepsi for all! — Michael Roberts
