Last night, Carmelo Anthony returned to play in Denver for the first time since forcing a 2011 trade to the New York Knicks that left Nuggets fans feeling pissed off and disrespected. And somehow, justice prevailed. The Nugs ran all over Melo and pals en route to a 117-94 crushing. As for Anthony, he scored just nine points and added injury to insult by tweaking his knee, which will have to be drained.
Is it in poor taste to celebrate Carmelo’s very bad night? Maybe, but we’re doing it anyway with a collection of Melo sucks memes. Enjoy.
