On Friday, dog lovers who oppose breed specific legislation like Denver's pit bull ban gathered on the 16th Street Mall to stage what they describe as a flash mob -- although it was closer to a political demonstration. After a megaphone-amplified introduction, various participants declared, "I want my pit bull in Denver!" before joining together, torches in hand, to paraphrase John Lennon with the singing of "Give Pits a Chance!"
