Thumbtack’s list of the top ten cities for millennial entrepreneurs includes a Colorado community – one that finishes very near the top.
But that’s no surprise.
The site’s small-business-friendliness survey of the U.S. as a whole gives Colorado an overall mark of A, making it one of just twelve states to hit that height.
Still, not every entrepreneur has positive things to say about launching a business here. More than 18,000 small business owners nationwide were quizzed, and representative comments from Coloradans include pros and cons alike, even when the overall grade is impressive.
Will you step up to support Westword this year?
We’re aiming to raise $50,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to this community. If Westword matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Below, check out pro-and-con takes from Colorado respondents in five business categories, followed by the list of top ten millennial entrepreneurs. To check out the full Thumbtack posts on these topics, click here and here.
