Pros and Cons About Starting a Business in Colorado

Thumbtack's list of the top ten cities for millennial entrepreneurs includes a Colorado community — one that finishes very near the top.

But that's no surprise.

The site's small-business-friendliness survey of the U.S. as a whole gives Colorado an overall mark of A, making it one of just twelve states to hit that height.

Still, not every entrepreneur has positive things to say about launching a business here. More than 18,000 small business owners nationwide were quizzed, and representative comments from Coloradans include pros and cons alike, even when the overall grade is impressive.

Below, check out pro-and-con takes from Colorado respondents in five business categories, followed by the list of top ten millennial entrepreneurs. To check out the full Thumbtack posts on these topics, click here and here.
