It’s not just visitors to downtown Denver who are concerned about the behavior they find on and off the 16th Street Mall. Residents are irritated, too, and last weekend we posted a comment from one downtown dweller who’s fed up with people trashing the neighborhood and pissing on their homes. But there’s bad behavior all over Colorado, one reader points out. Says April:
You Citiots come up here to the mountains and do it on our property every weekend in the summer. You pee in our driveways, camp illegally on our land, race your ATVs down our roads and leave behind your damn trash! And start fires during a fire ban!! So if you ask any of us mountain-dwelling people, you are not going to get any sympathy. Turnabout is fair play! Ha!
Does April have a point? Do Denverites display a double standard when they’re in the mountains?
