Patricia Calhoun’s post featuring suggested new symbols for Northern Colorado, the proposed name for numerous counties currently considering secession from the state, triggered a huge response from commenters, a lot of it negative in the extreme. Here’s one example of many.

If they don’t like Colorado then please don’t use our name. From now on, can we just call them South Nebraska instead?
