Our item about the counties that voted to secede from Colorado to create the 51st state riled up readers in a big way — and even though the move is mostly symbolic, a lot of the posts can be summed up by the phrase “Good riddance.” Here’s one of many examples.

Alyssa Stump writes:

Let the hillbillies secede, but we will not be South Colorado [so] those bitches have to be North Colorado. I have been to all of those counties. Having lived in Logan county, and I’m not too sure I’m proud that I share a state with them anyway 😐
