Reader: Later Bar Hours Would Mean Less Chance for Violence at Let-Out

In recent weeks, we've been writing about violent incidents near the 16th Street Mall area.

One recent example: Four people were shot at 10th and Market near Larimer Square.

Plenty of our readers were troubled by episodes like this one, including the following correspondent, who has an interesting suggestion for decreasing the odds of such problems taking place.

This is exactly why they need to extend the bar hrs to 4 a.m. like in LA, Vegas or NYC. Making all types of drunk people leave at the same time is just stupid.
