A recent Comment of the Day in which a reader rejected the idea that people can vape without anyone noticing prompted a slew of memorable responses.

But one definitely caught us by surprise.

In it, the author addresses the subject of public pot smoking and its impact on people who have allergic reactions to marijuana.

The comparison he makes is one for the books.

Here's what he had to say.

John S. Schafluetzel writes:

From someone who loves someone with a SEVERE pot allergy:

Okay. Here's the thing about smoking anything: your enjoyment does not end at your personal space, so no, smoking pot is not like drinking or anything else you enjoy unto yourself. It's like bukkake. Public, unsolicited bukkake.

Perhaps the fairest approach to public consumption is a new ordinance. You can smoke anything you damn well please in other people's airspace, but they get to ejaculate in yours. Just give me like...

Six minutes.
