DIA wasn’t the only place that experienced high winds and hail yesterday. Commerce City also got pounded, to the apparent delight of every roofer within a hundred miles.

A resident of the Reunion neighborhood who shall remain nameless (because he doesn’t want to excite any more friggin’ roofers) says two or three repairmen knocked on his door yesterday, and at least six more today, all of them armed with fliers and asking, “Has anybody been on the roof yet?” For the roofing industry, the weather blew in one way, but not in another.
