Earlier this month, a body was found near a rec center at La Alma Park. Now, the victim has been identified as Sean Fresques, 39. And according to the Denver coroner’s office, he didn’t die of natural causes. Rather, he was a homicide victim. Coroner’s office release:
On September 3, 2010, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner was requested to respond to 1326 W. 11TH Ave. in the park.
Mr. Sean G. Fresques (39 yrs old — DOB: 9-17-1971) had been discovered dead.
An autopsy was completed and Mr. Fresques died due to blunt trauma to the head and abdomen. The manner of death is homicide.
