Suspect: A 50-year-old female

Officer M. Vigil reports:

“Investigation revealed that officers went to the listed location in an attempt to arrest [an individual] who was wanted on a felony child abuse charge. The suspect was not there, but animal control officers went with the officers because they had reports of extreme animal waste. Due to the large number of animals living in filth, Animal Control seized 22 birds, 2 cats and a turtle. Officers also notified Environmental Heath, who condemned the home until it was clean.” —Jared Jacang Maher
