Rocky Horror fans have been doing that same old song and dance for way too long, so I say, “Amen!” If ever there was a replacement vehicle to suit a 21st-century audience, it’s REPO! The Genetic Opera, a ready-made cult classic with a lineup of of rock-star cameos and musical performances a mile long.
In honor of the underground sci-fi gore-fest’s release yesterday on DVD and Blu-ray (as well as a soundtrack CD), director Darren Bousman, actor/writer Terrance Zdunich and cast member Bill Moseley have taken the flick on tour and will appear in person for a screening in Denver tonight at 8 p.m. at the Landmark Mayan, 110 Broadway.
Admission is $15; call the Mayan at 303-352-1992 for information. And for more about Repo! visit the official website.
