A recent Washington Post headline reads, "Sorry Broncos, Almost Everyone Betting on Panthers in Super Bowl 50" — and that's no exaggeration.

An overwhelming number of bettors have placed their money on Cam Newton and the Panthers — and as a result, the point spread has widened.

Carolina opened as a 3.5 point favorite to win the big game on February 7, but that number has grown to 5.5 points or more. And as more and more prognosticators predict a Panthers victory, expect those digits to keep moving higher.
