Coloradans have a history of doing mighty well on reality-TV shows — note Nicole Fox’s 2009 win on America’s Next Top Model. So don’t be surprised if Conifer’s Alex Charvat draws a bead on victory in Top Shot, a History Channel staple whose latest season gets underway tonight. As a preview, get to know Charvat in the clip on view below.
The fourteen contestants on Top Shot‘s third cycle include an ex-Navy Seal, a couple of Homeland Security agents and a pair of cops, among others. Charvat, however, is an engineer, albeit one who’s been shooting from an early age and is sharing his love of firearms with his three daughters. In fact, six-year-old Kate’s middle name is Oakley, as in Annie.
Be warned, gun haters: In the footage below, Kate can be seen toting a pink rifle. Click to see the video.
