Colorado School of Mines basketball doesn't get much -- read: any -- national airtime. But that changed Friday, when Chatfield High alum Trevor Wages shattered a backboard with a dunk, and made ESPN's top ten in the process. Too bad the story doesn't have a happier ending: The game wasn't finished until Sunday (enough time to allow staff to find a replacement backboard), and when it was, Mines lost to Metro State, 74-58.
