Frosty the Snowman might be packing something different in his pipe when he comes to Colorado for Christmas, especially if he pays a visit to the Bong-a-Thon Holiday Party or Tacky Light Comedy Tour over the weekend. Expect to find influential members of the cannabis community, dank herb and laughs at both, with plenty of holiday cheer going around at other events in this week's Cannabis Calendar.

The Tacky Light Comedy Tour returns this week, this time stopping at Mindful, Medicine Man Denver and Denver Relief during its holiday tour of dispensary shopping sprees and mobile comedy shows. Starting at Mindful on Thursday, December 17, shoppers will check out exclusive deals at the hosting pot shop before hopping on a 4/20-friendly party bus to cruise around the Denver area with a SexPot Comedy comedian. Steve Vanderploeg will ride along Thursday, and tours beginning at Medicine Man (Friday, December 18) and Denver Relief (Saturday, December 19) will feature Brent Gill and Timmi Lasley. Tickets are $62.50 apiece and include a catered dinner at a local art gallery and alcoholic refreshments. 21+

The Bong-a-Thon makes a winter stop in Denver this year, hosting a holiday party on Friday, December 18, at Smoke Studios by CNR in Aurora. Beginning at 4:20 p.m., there will be live music, raffles and, of course, bong-toking races. There will also be a holiday potluck (both medicated and un-medicated), toward which attendees are encouraged to contribute. 21+

Veterans support group Grow for Vets is holding another cannabis giveaway for veterans in Colorado Springs on Friday, December 18, at 6:30 p.m at the Dab Lounge. The giveaway is free to attend for Grow For Vets members, who typically receive a few grams of flower, edibles and smoking accessories. For Grow for Vets members who are agoraphobic (fear of places, crowds, situations) or who need other special considerations, please e-mail Members@GrowForVets.org. Member enrollment at the event will be available.

The Denver Kush Club and Spangalang Brewery are now hosting Vinyl Sundays — a weekly party dedicated to sharing the love of records, beer and ganja — at Spangalang Brewery. The Denver Kush Club will be handing out free joint cards and merchandise while Spangalang forgets to charge full price for beers. Bring in some vinyl records to share and receive $1 off each beer. 21+
