Five years ago last week (February 17, 2003), a Denver stripper disappeared.
Jennifer Marcum was a single mom working at Shotgun Willie’s to support her child. She got involved with a drug dealer who was running tens of thousands of hits of ecstasy into Colorado from Europe.
He got busted. She disappeared.
“We’re waiting to try and see if anything is going to happen to the person we think did it, we have no proof that she is deceased, though we are pretty sure that she is,” said her father, Bob Marcum.
Bob Marcum says that the June 29, 2006Westword article, "Strip Search," generated some tips, but his daughter's whereabouts remain a mystery.
“If anybody possibly somehow can remember anything of what went on with her that night...” Marcum pleads. “There was people with her supposedly.” -- Luke Turf
