At the Italco Spring Food Show, held yesterday and today at Mile High Station, it was all about charcuterie, salumi and cheese and me slinging all the cheese, charcuterie and salumi I could down my throat. I've admitted, albeit not publicly (until now), that I'm a salumi slut -- that if there's lardo, sopressata, lomo, coppa, pancetta, prosciutto or pepperoni anywhere within my grasp, I'm like a pit bull on a toy poodle. Today was no exception, especially since Il Mondo Vecchio, the local salumi palace at 1174 South Cherokee Street, was handing out complimentary salumi samples, including two hopelessly addicting new products: bresaolo and calabrese soppresate.
Herewith, those pics and the rest of today's food porn.
