The new
Blake Street Tavern, at 2301 Blake Street, isn't yet open -- but the staff will be serving free hot dogs on the patio at 5 p.m. today, before the Rockies game, as a welcome to the neighborhood.
Of course, the tavern is no newcomer to the neighborhood; it's just moving a block from its original home at 2401 Blake -- but that spot has gone dark in anticipation of the new location's opening, which could be as soon as Friday, June 11, promises owner Chris Fuselier.
