Craft beer fought back against the industrial giants this week: Jonathan Shikes visited Caution Brewing, where several Denver breweries have collaborated on a pumpkin peach ale to highlight the hypocrisy behind Budweiser's pro-macro Super Bowl ad. And who knows, maybe you'll be able to help yourself to one of those pumpkin peach ales when First Draft, which will be Denver's first self-serve beer bar, opens this summer.
And while Gretchen Kurtz didn't find any beer at the Kitchen Table Cafe, she found plenty of comfort in the smoked brisket and home-style pies. In other news:
