Jamba Juice opens on C Concourse, where Root Down will soon be another healthy option

Jamba Juice just opened its second location at Denver International Airport, on the C Concourse, and is slated to open a third in the Jeppesen Terminal this fall. "Jamba Juice has proven itself to be popular with our passengers on the B Concourse, so we are delighted to see the brand expanded to the C Concourse and the Jeppesen Terminal," says Kim Day, Denver's manager of aviation.

And Jamba Juice will soon be in good, healthy company on the C Concourse: An outpost of Root Down is slated to open there this month.

These new additions are just some of the changes that DIA has been making in its culinary concessions.

The new 45-minute waiting area -- with concessionaires that include Dunkin' Donuts -- is scheduled to open in September. And there are many more innovations to come, including the opening of Steve's Snappin' Dogs on the B Concourse by the end of the year, or early in 2014
