The block of retail spaces on Lincoln Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues have been difficult for restaurants — and the curse of the Beauvallon building continues. Yura's Modern Asian Kitchen — which served an eclectic menu of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes — didn't even make it a year.

Now it's been replaced by Pho Denver, which opened this week. Although the sign is still up for Yura's, Pho Denver has set out a sidewalk menu featuring standard Vietnamese appetizers, pho and noodle and rice bowls.

Before Yura's moved in last September, the space had briefly been the home of Attivo Pizza & Subs.
