We know — the economic times are hard. We believe that our work of reporting on the critical stories unfolding right now is more important than ever.

Located at 1617 California Street, this shop features the chain's signature homemade bread and Colorado brews on tap, as well as some Colorado-friendly touches in the space itself: beetle-kill pine, reclaimed corrugated siding, in-house recycling.

This won't be the only Planet Sub in Colorado; the chain plans to open seven stores here in the next eight years.
