Today: Elway's Cherry Creek celebrates #7

Want to watch today's Broncos game in style? Elway's Cherry Creek, the steakhouse/watering hole at 2500 East First Avenue that features memorabilia from John Elway's career (and sometimes even the former quarterback himself), should score big with a new play that celebrates #7 on Sundays.

Starting today, the bar will be showing the NFL game on seven TVs, serving a $7 Elway's Bloody Mary (topped by a giant shrimp), and offering seven bar snacks from chef Tyler Wiard priced at $7 each. The lineup includes burger sliders, Colorado lamb sliders, short rib sliders, BBQ chicken sliders, a half-pound of mussels, a trio of chips and dips, and Elway's spicy chicken legs.

Elway's opens for brunch on weekends at 11 a.m., and the brunch menu will be served until 2 p.m.; bar snacks will be available all day. For more info, call 303-399-5353 or go to
