Friends and neighbors celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the Welton Street Cafe at 2736 Welton Street.

The Welton Street Cafe, owned and operated by the Dickerson family, has served soul food in the Five Points neighborhood for the past twenty years. Twins Fathima and Fathim Dickerson now run the restaurant founded by their parents, Flynn and Mona, and on Tuesday, July 30, they hosted an anniversary party with members of the community, plenty of regular customers (many of whom no longer live in Five Points), live music and, of course, great food.
