$20,000

Congrats are due to the Boulder Outlook Hotel and the Colorado Blues Society, which have both earned nods from the Blues Foundation. On Friday, February 1 in Memphis, both groups will be one of fifteen organizations honored with a Keeping the Blues Alive Award, a prestigious award meant to honor folks that have expended a notable amount of effort to keep blues music alive — a claim you can easily make about both Dan King and the folks at the Boulder Outlook Hotel and the Colorado Blues Society, a champion of the blues on the Front Range for the past fifteen years.
