The eighth Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill location opened its doors in Highland Square last month, but will hold its second grand opening party today as a make-good for those who stayed away from the first because of harsh weather conditions.
“We will have the bean toss,” says Beth Burnhart, describing the game where people can try to win free lunches, and they’ve also invited musician Henry Howard to return. “And, of course, the store will be open as usual, so people can come in and have lunch and listen to music.”
Business has been good since the initial opening, she says. “It’s been nice and steady. It’s a grand re-opening, so people are already aware of the restaurant.”
This Garbanzo is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information visit www.eatgarbanzo.com.
