Pumpkins are lighting up porches, and Starbucks has unleashed the pumpkin spice, which means Halloween season is here. Denver’s ready with a lineup of parties, parades and spooky spectacles big enough to fill the whole month

From pumpkin-lit gardens and Victorian ghost hunts to all-night art raves and symphonic spooky classics, October turns the metro into a choose-your-own-adventure for goblins of every stripe. Whether you’re chasing high camp, high art or high-adrenaline, the Mile High City is stacked with parties, parades, pop-ups and plenty of tricks (plus more treats than a pillowcase can carry).

To make your month easier (and eerier), we’ve split the city’s best Halloween happenings into two parts: ongoing experiences you can hit on multiple nights and dated events you’ll want on the calendar now. Now, let’s dig into what’s on the slab this spooky season around the metro area.
