We’re aiming to raise $20,000 by April 26. Your support ensures Westword can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
For all those who give pom-pom critters for birthdays, feel an urge to stick googly eyes on everything or just occasionally get a twitch to fold some origami, we bring you “Gettin’ Crafty” where we feature a craft you can easily make with minimal supplies and limited finances. For those who suffered ran the Bolder Boulder yesterday, way to go. You did it. Now you may have chaff marks the size of notebooks and blisters as bit as silver dollars, but you survived. The following, super simple foot soak is the least you can do to soothe those hardworking feet.
Supplies
Sea salt or kosher salt. About 1 cup.
A few drops essential oils
1 tablespoon loose leaf chamomile tea
glass jar to put finished salt in
Instructions
1. Measure ingredients into a bowl and mix together by hand.
2. Put in jar.
3. When you’re ready to use, mix about two tablespoons per bath. Soak and enjoy.
