“I like to express myself with my clothes, so me wearing pink means I’m happy. I used to not wear hats much, but now I really like to,” says Heath, explaining her pink shorts and BAD baseball cap. Here she also shows off a favorite gold bracelet, which means “Forever loved.”

analysis: Even on a rainy, drab day, Heath has a colorful look that stands out. She’s sporting a casual style that references hip-hop music with her Notorious B.I.G. tank and her BAD hat, which brings Biggie’s explicit lyrics to mind. Her letterman jacket features an A for Angela, and shows her attention to detail. But Most of all, Heath dresses to express herself — and to show that she’s gon’ learn today.
