With all the rain pouring over Denver recently, you’d think everyone would be wearing raincoats and holding umbrellas. But Angela Heath is a refreshing exception. A Denver native who’d lived in Hawaii and recently moved back to town, Heath knows how to handle a wet climate. Keep reading to learn where she shops, her 2013 jam, and who inspires her look.

Style inspirations/icons: I don’t really look at other people; I just choose what looks and feels right. I inspire myself, but my sister inspires me sometimes.
Favorite color: Green, any green.
Favorite accessory: Necklaces.
Style mantra: I sing while I’m getting dressed, but I also say to myself a saying from back home: “You gon’ learn today.”
Shops at: Macy’s, Wild and Free Kauai, Jean Warehouse, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, and Ross and TJ Maxx. If I find something I like, I don’t care where it comes from.
“I like to express myself with my clothes, so me wearing pink means I’m happy. I used to not wear hats much, but now I really like to,” says Heath, explaining her pink shorts and BAD baseball cap. Here she also shows off a favorite gold bracelet, which means “Forever loved.”
