French restaurant La Forêt made our recent list of the ten most romantic restaurants, and get this: it doesn't take reservations. That means you won't look like you didn't plan. Dangling greenery, cozy booths and even real aspen tree trunks make La Forêt a cozy place to eat baked brie and French onion soup and try desserts like chocolate mousse and crème brulée when you're feeling sweet. Grab a Drink at Pretty Neat
114 South Broadway
Sip on cocktails at Pretty Neat (a Westword Top 100 Bar) while you wait for a table at La Forêt. When Pretty Neat opened, the goal was to offer good drinks for a good price — $12 each. Pretty Neat's current menu offers drinks like the Blackberry Margarita, Brown Sugar Old Fashioned and Gingerbread Mule.

Look at Lingerie at Femme Fatale Intimates

Before dinner (or while you're waiting for a table), check out Femme Fatale Intimates, which sells sexy lingerie and swimwear. Even if you don't buy anything, it's still fun to look, and even try things on to get inspired. If it's not your thing or you're on a budget, check out the two floors of thrifty merchandise at the nearby Goodwill, 21 South Broadway.
