Summer is on its way, and the best way to greet its start is with some hot fashion events. From celebrating Denver Fashion Truck's first anniversary to a steamy pool-party fashion series, here are ten must-attend events to put on the June calendar.

Denver Fashion Truck Turns One 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 31 Infinite Monkey Theorem 3200 Larimer Street

The Denver Fashion Truck will celebrate its first anniversary while continuing to spread fashionable joy with a selection of Colorado-made art and fashion. The husband-and-wife team of Desiree and Adrian G.B. will also be launching their own line of art, sewn, printed and up-cycled goods at the celebration at the Infinite Monkey Theorem winery. The party will feature live entertainment and a fashion show with new designs from Giddy up!, Maison De Rose, Pupil Clothing, Chablis Chic, Francis Rose and DFT's exclusive labels Unsinkable and ThemeOne.

Akomplice Summer 14 -- Marijuana For the Future Available online June 5

Inspired by the legalization of marijuana and the 420 rally, fashionable brothers Mike and Patrick obtained access to Native Roots and were in the thick of it on April 20 to shoot photos of their impressive summer line. The designs are vibrant and guaranteed to sell out fast. For your summer look, you will find short- and long-sleeve button-ups, jogging pants and uniquely designed tees. The summer collection will debut at select Akomplice retailers and online at the webstore.

Nest Pop-Up Shop June 5-8 Goldwyn 2040 West 30th Avenue

The Scout Guide Denver will present the Nest Pop-Up Shop with clothing, gifts and the Newborn Essential Collection. The shop opens with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. June 5. Find more information here.

Fancy Tiger -- Civilized Living Series 6 to 9 p.m June 6 55 Broadway

Fancy Tiger's Civilized Living series is a monthly showcase for local designers. The designers for June include Sara Hale-Brown of Love Ticket, with jewelry and handbags, and Stephanie Utley of the Native Clutter line of jewelry; both will be on hand to discuss their work. Eyecandy 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7 Matthew Morris Salon 13 South Broadway

The eighth annual runway show will take the stage at Matthew Morris, with designs from Sol Lingerie and A Line Boutique. Tickets, $80, benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Keep reading for more hot fashion events.

Summer In Style Second Home Kitchen and Bar 3 p.m. Sunday, June 8 JW Marriott 150 Clayton Lane

Second Home will be kicking the summer off in style with its patio launch/runway party featuring hair and makeup designs by "Shear Genius" star Charlie Price and Antoine du Chez. There will be complimentary small-plate tapas and drink specials to get the party started, along with the hair and make-up fashion show highlighting summer's hottest trends. Meet the director of Vancouver Eco Fashion Week, Myriam Laroache, and watch fifteen-minute Eco fashion shows featuring designs from Merelyme Co. Celebrating her eighth season as founder of ECO Fashion Week, Laroache will share her insight about the $300 billion a year eco-fashion industry. Donna Karan Pre-Fall Trunk Show 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 21 Neiman Marcus Cherry Creek 3030 East First Avenue, Second level

Summer Poolside Fashion Series 2014 6 to 10 p.m., Thursday, June 26 The Breakers Resort 9099 East Mississippi Avenue

Starting in June, the fourth Thursday of the month will definitely be the hottest day of that month. Sponsored by 303 Denver Fashion Weekend, the Summer Poolside Fashion Series will feature a poolside swimsuit fashion show with live music, specialty cocktails and BBQ; a portion of the sales will go to local charity.
