It's First Friday, and you might already have plans to be out and about. Here's one more wonderful event to add to your itinerary, if you happen to be heading toward the Art District on Santa Fe or Gildar Gallery on Broadway: Welcome to Tomorrow, an informal unveiling of spring styles filling the racks at the new, improved Fancy Tiger Clothing.
From 7 to 10 p.m., you're invited to peruse the latest from the West Coast and Canada, as well as jewelry by local artist Lara Nickel; personal attention and tips for shoppers will be provided by Denver stylist Clare Strouss-Tallman.
Finish it off with tunes by DJ Tyler Snow, PBRs and brews from Great Divide, and your evening will go directly from artsy and fashion-forward...in all the best ways. Welcome to Tomorrow is free; visit Fancy Tiger online for more information.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
