Over the past few years, French restaurants have made a big splash in the local dining scene — and another one just jumped into the pool. Jacques, which opened in Highland in September 2023, is equal parts fun and French, with a playful dining room alongside a traditional Gallic menu. Murals of Brigitte Bardot and the Michelin Man (yes, that Michelin Man, who represents both tires and fancy-schmancy restaurant awards) overlooks cozy booths where diners can enjoy classics like steak frites, aligot and mussels.
