Provolino, a low-key, family-friendly Italian joint in a King Soopers-anchored shopping center in southeast Denver, opened in December 2023 in the spot that had previously housed Piccolo's for five decades. The new eatery has maintained the neighborhood-restaurant vibe with approachable comfort food inspired by longtime Denver staples including Gennaro's, Angelo's and the now-closed Saucy Noodle.
