Prive Social Club

A month after the Dorchester Social Eatery opened in the former Lavish space in September 2014, Prive Social Club opened in the space that the Dorchester uses for private events during the week. Once the Dorchester's kitchen closes on Fridays and Saturdays, the black curtain that separates the spaces opens to include the sleek and posh Prive, the Dorchester's bar, and the 4,000-square-foot rooftop patio, which has cabanas, communal tables and bar seating. Privé is similar to spots in Chicago and Miami whose daytime restaurant vibe transitions into a club experience at night. Prive boasts an elevated DJ booth, a Funktion-One sound system, U-shaped sofas and high-end bottle service. In addition, the club has hi-res LED lighting and mirrored walls with LED strips in them that reflect and bounce light around the room.
